The SLAN project aims to process Czech and Russian word-formation to teach Czech as a foreign language. Migration and integration processes typical for today's society are associated with the development of communicative competence and foreign languages, and in SLAN, it is Czech for foreigners. The planned outcomes of SLAN (online exercises, worksheets, methodological recommendations) are missing in teaching materials currently available in the market. They will, therefore, be beneficial for teaching such subjects as Czech as a foreign language/Czech for students with a different mother tongue, and also as methodological help for teachers. The SLAN project will also create corpora of current vocabulary according to language levels (A2–B2), which can be used by both teachers and students.

Practical Phonetics of Russian is a compulsory course in Russian language with a focus on education. No phonetic aid has been developed for this subject to help develop the correct pronunciation of the Russian language in an entertaining and educational way. Therefore, the aim of this project is to create a board game and a set of worksheets for students to learn the correct pronunciation of the Russian language and to try it out in practice.

The implementation of the project will contribute to the innovation of teaching in primary schools by creating new digital educational resources that will be aimed at increasing the digital competences of pupils. The implementation of the project will lead to the development of digital education and computer thinking in primary schools. The innovative digital learning resources created will contribute to increasing pupils' competences in solving tasks, handling information, creating and sharing content, which will increase their future employability.

The project is aimed at improving the quality of teaching of the courses Introductory Russian 1 and Russian for Beginners 1 with the help of innovative teaching materials. These courses are intended for all MU students. The aim of the project will be to create an interactive song in Russian (application for smartphones). The outputs of the project will not only enhance the development of students' skills, but also make teaching more attractive.
